Pi is the number which represents half the circumference of the unit circle.
It turns out to be a number we can compute to any degree of accuracy by various methods.
But we will never know it all since there is not enough "time" to compute it completely
(unless you happen to be God... and if you are, thanks for taking the time to read my rather
mundane ramblings.)
Here's Pi computed to a million decimal places, a degree of accuracy which will satisfy-------------------------------------------- If we round off the 1 millionth digit the number Pi is roughly equal to : 3.1415\
most, but will leave purists yearning for more. (Computation performed by Maple 6).
The numbers read horizontally (not as two columns); so if a slash appears in the middle of a line,
it should be ignored.(Not that I expect anyone to "read" every number...but should you want to, feel free.)
Can you find your Social Insurance Number in this list?
Question: What is smallest natural number which does not appear in Pi, no matter how much you expand it?
