By now you have received Gerry's abridged version of our lives together. So,
here is a bit about me.

I graduated from McGill with an Honours Biochemistry degree, but never did much
with it. I worked as a lab technician for a couple of years in Vancouver. I was
pretty burnt out by the end of McGill and wasn't interested in pursuing a
graduate degree. We moved from Vancouver to Ottawa and fairly quickly had our
two daughters, who kept me busy for a few years. I then returned to the work
force and to university while working part time. After a number of years, I
became a chartered accountant and had a career in accounting and finance for the
next 20 years, working for others, for myself, for Gerry's company, etc. We
moved from Ottawa to Toronto and in 1999 we moved to Atlanta and I retired from
paid employment, but continued to be the family accountant for Gerry's business
ventures and our parents and our children, who were now adults. Living so far
from our families, I wanted to have a flexible schedule and accompanied Gerry on
business trips and went back and forth to Canada. We now own an apartment in
Toronto and spend a few months there every year (except for wonderful 2020). We
also spent much time traveling the world.

We enjoy our lives in Atlanta, but at our current age, we think about returning
to Canada to be closer to our kids and grandkids. But then there is a blizzard
in Toronto and the worst we have to handle here is a bit of wind. So we're not
ready to go back. We both enjoy the outdoors and the climate here is wonderful
most of the year. This is the first year we spent the summer in Atlanta, and it
turned out to be okay.

See all y'all this evening.
