Generally, students did quite well on this assignment.

For the geometry part, a few students had some problems on proving that
the functions are continuous.

For the Calculus part, about half of the students had some calculation
errors on the Taylor series. Either they can not remember the Taylor
series clearly, or they had errors on calculating the derivative of
the functions.

The Topology part appears to be the hardest one. About half of the
students have problems on proving question 2. A few students still not
quite understand the concepts like open, closed, and boundary.  But it is
still good to see many students can prove the results rigorously.

The students finished the Matrices part well. A few had some
calculation errors on calculating the eigenvectors.
