Subject: Pointer to APL Character 

Dear Friends of APL,

I have posted the electronic version of the APL Character
Repertoire at this address:

In ISO parlance this is a Committee Draft (CD).
In no sense should this be considered final, because:

	The HTML is a bit clumsy in places.

	Some of the things in Annex A might be better placed
		in the "conformance" clause or somewhere else.

	Some "Notes" in Annex A might be put in a non-normative annex.

	The character matchings are open for discussion.
		(For example, I think that an early version
		of APL2 made a different choice for Quad.)

	We can discuss changing the defined phrase "APL character"
		to "APL non-alphabetic" (?).

	We might need to give an example (?)

	We might make some comment about how an applecation deals
	with an "APL character" that it receives but which is not
	a part of its atomic vector. (It is on its own?).
	
I apologize for the actual tables themselves They are GIFs
and not done with an APL character set.  I would appreciate any
help with this. We might consider working toward having a
downloadable character set, but is this a feasable task?
If we keep to HTML, we want something that is platform
independent.

them yet.
