GR120 has been a standard test instance for the TSP since 1977. The data set has 120 points and it was contributed to the TSPLIB by Martin Groetschel.  The data set consists of the travel distances between 120 cities (in and around Germany) listed in the table of the 1967/68 edition of the Deutscher General Atlas.
