MATH 138 Calculus 2, Fall 2024



Note: the MATH 138 final examination has been scheduled for
Mon Dec 16, from 9:00-11:30 am, in MC 4061.

The exam will have about 5 questions, each with about 2 or 3 parts.
It will cover the material from Chapters 1-5 and Chapters 7,8, along with
the accompanying exercises, and the material from Assignments 1-8.
You should know the statements of all definitions and theorems,
and you should know the proofs of the following 6 theorems:

Part 1 of Theorem 1.20: The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus
Theorem 7.23: The Nth Term Test for Divergence
Theorem 7.33: The Limit Comparison Test
Theorem 7.35: The Ratio Test
Theorem 7.46: Absolute Convergence Implies Convergence
Theorem 8.3: The Interval and Radius of Convergence
