PMATH 333 Intro to Real Analysis, Fall 2024


Note: the PMATH 333 final examination has been scheduled for
Tues Dec 17, from 9:00-11:30 am, in PAC 5.

The exam will cover the material from Chapters 1-5, with the
accompanying exercises, and from Assignments 1-6.
There will be about 5 questions, each with about 2 parts.
You should know the statements of all definitions and theorems,
and you should know the proofs of the following theorems:

Theorem 3.16 (Equivalent Definitions of Integrability)
Theorem 3.17 (The Integrability of Continuous Functions)
Theorem 4.9 (Uniform Convergence and Limits)
Parts 2 and 3 of Theorem 5.19 (Limit Points and Closed Sets)
Theorems 5.28 and 5.29 (The Heine-Borel Theorem)
Parts 1, 2 and 4 of Theorem 5.70 (Continuous Functions and Sets)
