The graphical user interface enables the user
to define, edit, and solve linear programming problems
and to store and retrieve them to and from files.
Problems are displayed in the Input pane on the left under the window's menus. After solving a problem, solution values are displayed in the solution pane on the right. The interface prints feedback messages to the status pane on the bottom left of its windows. The interface accepts problem definitions in two industry standard formats: the LP and MPS format. It reports all format errors in a problem definition at the error locations in the input pane. |
